NPR Weekend Edition featured Marti Noxon who talked about how a reduced pilot-production schedule might affect audiences.  TV networks are going to be cutting back on the number of pilots that are made.

Not only is tomorrow Halloween, it is also the day that the Writer’s Guild of America goes on strike. What that means is the television studios will lose their writers for the immediate future. And its really too bad since there are so many good television shows to watch these days.

Its been a busy time around here as visiting grandparents and other family activities have taken precedence over blogging. But I’m back to regular writing now and have several essay style pieces in the works.

The plot takes a big swing on Damages. We’ve started to watch Mad Men for its stark portrayal of advertising in 1960’s New York City. There’s a new love interest for Sheriff Carter on Eureka and Psych returns tonight.
