Ending Tradition, NBC Dismisses Fall Debuts and moves to a year-round schedule of staggered program introductions. 

Many reviewers have compared two new shows, Reaper (CW) and Chuck (NBC), because they feature responsibility-dodging slackers who find themselves in out-of-this-world situations as main characters.

Here are my reviews of the two premieres I watched last night, Chuck and Heroes.

Hollywood is ecstatic about the latest data about box office revenues. After discussions fell apart between NBC and Apple about free downloads on iTunes, NBC has gotten the best of Apple by using Blockbuster and Amazon.

This week we talk a bit about Damages and Eureka and look forward to Psych and The Company over the weekend. On Damages, we learn a bit more about Katie and Greg in Tastes Like A Ho-Ho and, on Eureka, the town experiences shared dreaming in Noche de Suenos.

Movies and television shows that include redemption for those unjustly accused are usually big hits. But they have to be carefully orchestrated.
