This is just awful news. Fulham’s American winger Clint Dempsey has suffered suspected cruciate knee ligament damage which could jeopardise his place at the 2010 World Cup.

He says its not about the money, but it looks eminent that Sol Campbell will officially be back at Arsenal. He played the first half yesterday in Arsenal’s reserve match win against West Ham (4-2).

If he’s match fit for the Premiership, he could definitely give Gallas and Vermaelen some needed rest.
