Its getting to be old hat for the Galaxy to beat Chivas USA. Once again, the goats played well at certain parts of the game but it was the “real” L.A. team that found net with their opportunities. This would be the 11th time (out of 19) that the Galaxy would claim victory. The line-up[.....]
The New England Revolution gave little resistance to the L.A. Galaxy’s first victory of the season. It was both teams’ first league match and the Revs looked terrible without Shalrie Joseph. Chelsea Defender Ashley Cole is sidelined for 3 months, thanks to a tackle by none other than our very own Landon Donovan. I’m almost giddy about it. Remember the nickname that Steven Cohen, Chelsea supporter extraordinaire, came up with for Donovan. It was “Landycakes” and it was supposed to show how soft Landon was. Who’s[.....]
