Changing Hosts, 24, and My Two Favorite Shows

I’m going to be moving hosts in the next couple of days. Hopefully, that will go smoothly. Once I set up shop at Media Temple, the plan is to improve the site design and layout. Just in case you’re wondering, I’m still figuring out the goal of this site and what I want to concentrate on. For right now, there are several television dramas that have really got my attention (namely, Damages and Mad Men) and with the fall season just starting, who knows what will happen?

Check out the beta version of a new science fiction database, Worlds Without End.

A Fox Press release says that Tony Almeida will return to 24 in the upcoming Day 7 season. Its also set in Washington D.C. and CTU has been disbanded. The two-episode premiere will be Sunday, January 13th, and Monday, January 14th.

Psych has been renewed for a third season.

Many (The TV Remote, Ducky Does TV, TV Is My Pacifier) are reporting that Mad Men has been picked up for a second season by AMC. That’s great news.

Some commentators are saying that FX Network’s Damages is taking too long to reveal tidbits of information to its viewers. My opinion is that at least its not Lost. Its been great drama and it just revealed one of the best bits of information on the show, the identity of baby carriage man. Televisionary saw it coming half-way through the episode. I had no idea. I guess that’s why Jace is the television development and acquisitions exec and I’m not.

Update: The transition to the new host went really well and the site seems to be a bit more responsive. Thanks Media Temple.
